For our traditional Irish pub, we’re looking for an experienced executive chef! Due to our dear colleague who’s leaving for their next adventure, we want to welcome a new chef to our kitchen. Our pub has a lot to offer, from weddings, to intimate dinner’s, we want to deliver a real experience to our guests, and that includes you!
Job description
As executive chef, we probably don’t need to go into a lot of detail about your job. But we do want you to understand the environment in which you will be working.
To us, it is very important that your team keeps evolving, both personally and professionally. That’s why we are looking for a creative person with a fresh outlook. Of course, we’re an Irish pub, but that does not limit us to try a lot of different dishes. It will be your responsibility to deliver an interesting menu that changes throughout the seasons, with your knowledge and skills people want to keep coming back.
Regarding professional growth, it is up to you to lead your team to do better every single day. You pay attention to your team’s strengths and together try to develop those.
You’re in charge of the kitchen’s roster, budgeting, and you keep control of the safety inside the kitchen.
Furthermore, you will be working with fresh products, this is why it’s important that you are familiar with the Dutch HACCP code and social hygiene regulations.
